Perhaps you struggle with feeling shy or inhibited, with not having a voice, with always holding back. Or you struggle with your body because of its size or shape or age or because it feels heavy or sluggish? Or you’re tired of pleasing others but not yourself and always trying to do it just right.
One thing I know is that it can be downright painful to have a part of ourselves suppressed, repressed or stagnant, even if it’s a small part.

This is not your typical workshop.
Because I’m not your typical workshop leader. For years I struggled with an eating disorder, depression and just plain digging my heals in—afraid to be fully alive and visible to the world. I felt I wasn’t adequate, good enough or “normal.” But inside I knew there was a genius that was yearning to be expressed and I ached to find a way to allow myself to just be me.
When I discovered that all I had to do was get out of my own way suddenly there was no stopping me! To my surprise it was easy! The trick was getting through the muck of fears that tell us we won’t be enough if we allow our simple self to shine!
Many of you have tried the usual ways to get through those fears. Perhaps you’ve been to therapy, self-help workshops and read tons of books (Hey, I’m a psychotherapist by training so I know that road well!). The only problem with those approaches is that they keep you in your head, keep you problem focused—and that goes nowhere fast! They miss the key to your aliveness: your body!
If you want to FAST TRACK your way back to yourself. . .If you want to just STEP INTO IT. . . THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTITUTE for PLAY.

The STOP THE STRUGGLE Workshop teaches the key principles of joyful abundant living experientially! Utilizing movement, voice and laugher games in a safe environment we help you release and discharge stuck patterns held in your body, breaking down your learned physical inhibitors while reconnecting you with your innate childlike playfulness. We prime the pump of your creative juices which activates new possibility. Simultaneously we teach your mind new principles and concepts that help you understand and retain these experiences.

A loving, nurturing and safe environment is created for exactly this reason. You will be given ample space and time to explore yourself in your own way. When you’re ready, you ask for support and we hold the space for your unfolding.
* “I want to try this, but I really don’t think I’ll be able to let loose.” No fears here either. You’ll do what you can do with no pressure or judgment. And these techniques are powerful for building new neural pathways that support automatic playful responses. In time and with practice, you’ll find that you are able to cut loose like the rest of us without effort.
* “I love the idea of this but does it really work?” You betcha. I use clinically tested exercises that, with practice, have been proven to decrease severe depression as well as elevate mood by increasing our feel-good hormones. It is the child’s nature to be joyful. These exercises get you back to the basics of being a child which is where your joyful and uninhibited expression lives.
* “The idea of this is intriguing, but what does this have to do with living my life. I have adult responsibilities that need to be tended to.” Of course! Great question. As adults we are inundated with responsibilities. But who says we have to be so serious doing them? Let’s unleash those feel-good hormones, and learn to enjoy the things we have to do? That frees up energy, excitement and enthusiasm for doing more of the things we want to do! Additionally, in this program, you learn strategies for living fully. These strategies will help you to make decisions that support your continued aliveness and let go of activities that drain and deaden you.
